Roundel – Acanthus Plaster

Based on an original classical stone plinth end panel at Goodwood House, Chichester. We initially designed these as end panels of the plinth for our large sphinx, with Bucranium panels on the sides.

Acanthus Roundel based on the original 18th century roundel at Radcliffe Observatory, Green Templeton College, Oxford. The original paterae can be seen either side of the entrance of the east wing of the observatory.
