The original marble sculpture, created by a famous French sculptor Jean-Jacques Caffieri around 1759, can be seen in the Louvre, Paris.

Examples of River Gods, (usually in a reclining pose) and similar figures can be seen at Ham House, Richmond and The Grotto at Stourhead, Wiltshire.
